Recent engagements have included Faust in Berlioz's Damnation de Faust (Tokyo Symphony), Enrico II in Donizetti's Rosmonda d'Inghilterra  (Teatro Maggio Musicale), Pirro in Rossini's Ermione ( Opéra de Lyon and Théâtre des Champs Elysées), Tempo in Handel's Il trionfo del tempo e del disinganno (Opéra de Lille and Caen), Don José in Bizet's Carmen (Théâtre des Champs Elysées), the title role of Haydn's Orlando Paladino (Opernhaus Zurich), the title role of Mitridate, re di Ponto in London (Covent Garden), as well as his debut at the Bayerisches Staatsoper in the title role of Offenbach's Les Contes d'Hoffmann
